How It Works

A CO2 laser emits light at 10,600nm, a wavelength readily absorbed by water in the skin. In fractional mode the beam is split into a grid of tiny dots, each one vaporising a narrow column of tissue. The controlled injury triggers the skin’s repair response: old surface cells are shed, collagen remodels and new collagen is laid down over the following weeks. Adjustable energy and scan patterns let the practitioner set treatment depth and density to the client’s skin type and concern.
